Moon Studios' No Rest For The Wicked Doesn't Require Online Connection To Play Single-Player
Mar 14,2024

Moon Studios co-founder and tech and production director Gennadiy Korol has revealed that the team's upcoming action RPG, No Rest for the Wicked, won't require online connection to play single-player. However, if you've already read our cover story on the game, you'd know that already. You'd also learn that you could play the game on shared servers with up to three friends.

Moreover, Korol has mentioned that No Rest for the Wicked will offer a robust offline mode for those uninteresting in the game's multiplayer elements.

Korol unveiled this today through X (originally Twitter) in further elucidation on Moon's thoughts for No Rest for the Wicked as a single and multiplayer game.

He wrote, "Although 'Wicked' is multiplayer-targeted, we don't want offline gaming feeling like it's been drove out, we hope people can game even when the network connection quality is not ideal." "We will be doing early access on PC on April 18, focusing mainly on single-player experience, and we will share more details about the game's multiplayer side during early access."

Game Informer has played a few hours of No Rest for the Wicked so far, single-player only, and it leaves a deep impression. You can read our previous view of the game-opening hours here, and you can observe it first-hand in our No Rest for the Wicked New Gameplay Today.
